The Details
For my birthday this year I visited my sister and her family in California. I love photography and was showing my nephews how to take pictures. One of them took this. So although it may not be the best picture of me, it is one of my favorites.
1. My hair is blonde, but I highlight it anyway. I like it blonder.
2. I love wearing high heels. But I walk funny in them and they hurt my feet. But I love them anyway.
3. I can figure out how to do pretty much anything.
4. Samantha says I’m very self-sufficient. I am. I love that about me.
5. I get lost all the time. I randomly take wrong turns. Or I forget how to go somewhere I’ve gone before. It’s pretty bad, but it’s also pretty funny.
6. I love a good laugh way more than a good cry.
7. I’m a little bit of a health freak.
8. I love to run, but it hurts my toe too much.
9. I’m signing up to run my first half marathon anyway!
10. I never get it all done. I always think I can do more than I can. I never realize how long it really takes.
11. I love to celebrate things. I’m pretty good at it.
12. I love to wear dresses.
13. I love to have a glass of wine and cook dinner. It’s so peaceful and creative for me.
14. I love my family so very much. There is nothing I love more than spending time with them and laughing a lot. Pure happiness.
15. I never got over it.
16. I love what I do. I love it more every day.
17. I accidentally deleted this list and had to start over.
18. I believe that we can always make it better. It’s never too late.
19. I have to check my email. All the time. I wish I didn’t.
20. I’d love to paint more. I think I will.
21. I like everything to be neat and clean. I feel uncomfortable when things are messy. But when I’m working I need everything out in front of me.
22. I love children and I don’t love pets. It’s funny that I only have two kids, but I have four pets!
23. I love tea. I don’t like coffee. Usually.
24. I spend three weeks at the ocean every summer. And some summers I never go into the ocean even once. I don’t like it to be too cold.
25. Most of the time I’m a pretty happy person. I feel very lucky about that.
